Hand poured, the luxurious, creamy lather is inherent of Xanna pure castile soap and obviates the necessity of synthetic lathering additives such a sodium lauryl sulphate, which can be a skin irritant. Olive oil is the only oil that does not block the pores of our skin. It is rich in minerals, anti-oxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Cold process soap retains the naturally formed glycerine needed to moisturise the skin, while commercial makers remove the glycerine and sell it as a by-product.
