White Tara is a goddess of great beauty and wisdom. She has seven eyes of knowledge - three on her face, two on the palms of her hands and two on the soles of her feet. It is said that White Tara's seven eyes enable her to clearly see all beings in all the realms of existence. She is seated in the vajra pose above a moon disc which sits above an opened lotus.
