Quan Yin, also known as Quan yin or Kwan yin is the goddess of compassion and great love. Quan Yin is a Bodhisattva, one who has vowed to stay on earth until all suffering has vanished. She is the saviour of all in distress and when invoked, is believed to lessen suffering. Quan Yin is also the protector of all children.
